iHope Mentoring Inc. (IHM) is a 501c3 male youth mentoring program based in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 2018, iHope Mentoring set out to form an organization that assists many inner-city youths as they matriculate into young men. Our group ranges from 7-17 years of age; with operating hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm to 8 pm.

During each mentoring session, we provide 1:1 mentoring, youth counseling, group mentoring and a host of other exciting components to assist in the positive development and growth of our mentees. 

​

(IHM) is an inclusive organization,, servingall male youth from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds. Our boys vary in age, race, geographical location, and background. We welcome young males who are in need of a positive environment where they are cultivated and encouraged to thrive.

MARCUS BROWN

Founder and CEO

Our Founder is born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and a graduate of Morgan State University, where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Mr. Brown has used his peculiar upbringing as the driving force towards bettering the community. Mr. Brown has been coined around town as "The Hope Dealer" because of his heart of service to others through providing HOPE. He is currently in his 8th year of managing non-profits and being a community ambassador/advocate. Most recently in October he was awarded the 2021 Humanitarian of the Year award in Orlando, Florida hosted by Fusion & Co.

TERRY LESCOTT

Program Director

Mr. Terry joins us from Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently works as a Systems Integration/Test Engineer of Missiles and Fire Control for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mr. Terry attended Virginia State University where he graduated Cum Lade in Electrical Engineering and Technology. Mr. Terry uses his background as an engineer to engage the youth into higher education and better career paths.

SAMIR EDENS

Program Director

Mr. Samir hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a diverse career background. Including, sales, behavior health, education & real estate. He has dedicated his adulthood to pursuing the change that he desires to see in society, in hopes that he may one day motivate the next generation to carry the torch. 

TONY PUDWILL

Program Director

Tony Pudwill is a 50 year resident of Central Florida, graduating from Lyman HS & Florida State University. He has been a Central FL real estate appraiser for 40 years, currently operating his own small business. Tony has coached youth sports, and served as an assistant wrestling coach at Lyman HS for 8 years. He is active in his church life and serves as a volunteer with iHope Mentoring, and is also a driver for Meals on Wheels. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, and is a student of history, with an extensive library focused on American & Ancient History.
